My wife, Kristina, is my perfect match.

My sister Erica is mother to my favorite niece, Gwendolyn. Erica is getting married this summer to Rowan, my elementary-school best friend. (Strange…)

A friend of mine, Amitai is probably the most impressive person I’ve ever known.

My friend Matt has a picture gallery focused on the two cutest little boys ever.

Life

I am a contributor to a very amusing blog named anchorbutt.

I obviously like most of the stuff that my quotes talk about.

I’m mostly a libertarian. Mostly.

I like to play with puzzles (all sorts). One type I especially like are Tavern Puzzles.

I keep a gift wish list in among my bookmarks.

I’m responsible for a number of sites: rainskit.com, gallery.rainskit.com, paulmedgyessy.rainskit.com, gwen.rainskit.com, and RowanAndErica.rainskit.com. There once were more, but things are simpler now :)

This server relies on software that is worth mentioning:

• NetBSD because it’s secure, stable, and understandable. But mostly because it’s just right.
• pkgsrc for installing/maintaining just about everything.
• djbdns for dns. BIND (named) sucks in most of the ways you wouldn’t want your dns server to suck.
• qmail because it’s better than sendmail.
• Textpattern for web content because it is also just right.
